Amanda Minor, APRN-CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner and advanced practice registered nurse at Physicians and Surgeons for Women in Springfield, Ohio, where she has cared for her patients and assisted her colleagues since 2013.
Completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, Amanda minored in Biblical studies in 2007. She then went on to earn her master's degree at the same university in the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2013.
Amanda is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She maintains her Basic Life Support certification for health care providers and a registered nurse license in Ohio.
Amanda’s career experience includes serving as a clinical instructor at Cedarville University, where she instructed, mentored, and supervised junior-level nursing students in the care of women, infants, and their families. She has worked as a school nurse for kindergarten through 12th-grade students and as a registered nurse at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Amanda is a wife, mother to four energetic girls and one sweet golden doodle and is active in her faith. When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys reading, creating in the kitchen, and spending time outdoors. She holds a special place in her heart for adoption and foster care.
